About Kasey

Content Marketer Kasey Steinbrinck and family

Thanks for being interested in me! Man, that feels good. Here’s what I’m all about …

I’m a freelance content marketer and copywriter living in Green Bay, Wisconsin, with my fabulous wife and three wild boys. Most days, my life feels like one of those sitcoms about a fat guy who’s married to a beautiful woman and they have cocky kids who are always getting into trouble. I’m still working on a memorable sitcom dad catchphrase I can yell.

I’ve had some fun jobs over the years. That includes a Hollywood internship at Danny DeVito’s former production company, a five-year stint as a local news producer, and a gig as a nightlife reporter taking photos of drunk people and interviewing stand-up comics.

Over the past decade, I’ve become immersed in the practice of content marketing, which my previous roles prepared me for quite well. I started as a copywriter and web content producer for two different eCommerce companies before moving into the agency world and working as a Content Marketing Director. Most recently, I’ve been a content marketing consultant for Automattic, the parent company of WordPress.com, Jetpack, Tumblr, and other amazing brands.

I love variety. That means new people, new ideas, new clients, and new projects. One time, I took a DiSC profile test. These were my results:

Kasey is a DiC

Apparently, I’m a DiC. Strangely, that’s exactly what my wife calls me. HEY-ooo!

I’ve written a lot of long, somewhat annoying cover letters in my life. So, instead of droning on about myself, let’s take a visual look at my life and career:
